Should you ever forget your password on a desktop PC, in most cases, you need to remove the BIOS battery after you unplug the machine from power. Wait 10 seconds and plug it back in. Some motherboards require other steps, such as moving a bios reset jumper, or just removing the jumper, powering on (which should fail) then unplugging it and replace the jumper. Consult your manual or try the above various things.
A warning to those reading this: A BIOS password is NOT secure. It is more secure on laptops, but many times they too can be bypassed.
