I'm upgrading the stock 120gb hdd to a 500gb hdd, but if I can only use FAT32 and it has a 32gb limit, how can I backup all my data? Most upgrade guides just never mention this as if it doesn't exist.

asian_tempation :
I want to backup my PS3 so I can upgrade to a 500gb hdd, but how can I backup my 100gb of data to a FAT2 hdd with a limit of 32gb? Every guide on upgrading the hdd says to format to FAT32 and nobody mentions the size limit even when they directly mention the Slim model. Also, when I do try to backup the data with a 30gb partition formatted to FAT32, the PS3 still doesn't recognize it.
