How to get pound sign on keyboard ON ACER LAPTOP PERMANENTLY

Hello,
I DID MY WINDOW 7 AGAIN MEAN I HAD TO REBOOT IT BUT WHEN I STARTED IT BACK SOME OF ITS KEYS ARE NOT WORKING WELL LIKE WHEN I PRESS SHIFT AND POUND SIGN IT DOESNT SHOW ME POUND SIGN, IT JUST SHOW ME # . I HAVE BEEN USING ACER LAPTOP

Maybe you have the shift button jammed in which would make your posts in ALL CAPS.

Hi

If you are using the UK Keyboard, press SHIFT+3.

If you are using the US Keyboard, with NumLock on, hold down the ALT key and type 156 on the Keypad. When you release the ALT key, the pound sign will appear.
