Question How to get rid of fps counter?

Hey there,

It's one of two things. Either you have an overlay running in the background like MSI Afterburner or HWInfo, Riva Tuner or something like that. Or the other thing is the monitors own built in FPS counter.

For the monitor, go into the menu and look for an option to reset the monitor. See if that fixes it.

If not, then you need to figure which app/overlay you have running, and turn off the OSD (On Screen display).

That should fix it.

Let us know how you get on.

No overlay running afaik. I’ve closed every program and turned off all startup apps. I’m hoping someone can recognize what’s running and know how to turn it off.

It's definitely some process is running to show that fps counter.

See if Winspy++ can help.
