How to get sound from projector

I have a Optoma hd71 projector connected to at&t receiver (via hdmi) and receiver connected to Sony home theater receiver (via red and white) cables. Sound works good. Trying to find out how to get sound when I connect my firestick to projector. I purchased a hdmi switcher(Blackweb 3 to 1) but really don't know how to connect or if it will make a difference. Help!!!

There are devices called "HDMI Audio Extractor" - a device which passed HDMI signal, and has a connector(s) where audio signal (RCA red/white, or optical) is output. I don't know how well this will work with Firestick, though.
