How to get SpeedFan to control fans on Asus Sabertooth Z170 Mark 1?

How do I make it so I can use SpeedFan to control my fans? Disabling fans in Bios would allow me to do it on my Sabertooth 990FX but does not make any difference on the Z170 Mark 1.

its not an officially tested motherboard so it not working means most likely it just doesn't work with that motherboard fan controller as its too different from anything its been programed for.


why not just use Asus Suit AI to adjust the fans?
