How to get TAILS running?

I have an ASUS VivoPC that I purchased because it was cheap and did what I wanted it to do, which was basically play around with different types of kernels. However, after following the instructions on how to get TAILS running on a PC, it is still not working. Here is what I have done so far:

1. I did create a DVD of TAILS, and then from there installed it on to the USB. I did this from another computer as the VivoPC doesn't have a DVD slot.

2. After going into the BIOS and changing the boot order, I restarted and, low and behold, it does not work! I am at my wits end here!

What setting do I have to change in the Asus BIOS in order to get it to boot TAILS?

download latest TAILS and use any of the tools here to put TAILS onto a usb (from a windows pc). You do not need to put onto DVD first..

Have you configured the PC to use legacy BIOS rather than UEFI?

How do I use the legacy BIOS instead of the UEFI?

I'm not familiar with that computer, so I don't know how you configure the BIOS. It'll be one of the options in there.

Like McHenryB suggesting, each BIOS is a little different. My MSI is buried under a menu called "Windows 8" or something like that.
