Question How to get the max of an i7-7700K CPU from an ASUS H110M-A mobo

Hi,

Soon I will replace my current CPU (i5-6500) with an i7-7700K CPU ... how can I get the max of my hardware with this config (maybe overclocking and RAM settings)? I will be having the following setup:

• i7-7700K with Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO Universal CPU Cooler
• ASUS H110M-A
• Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 Memory - 2400 MHz
• MSI 1080Ti Armor

You can't overclock on a H110 board - the multiplier is locked.
However, you might be able to slightly adjust the HWCLOCK by a few MHz.
Might be able to overclock the RAM though.

Max=stock on that board. No cpu/ram overclocking supported.

You can overclock your graphics card though.

I think it will perform great as it is.
If it were me I would try it and if it played well for me I would leave it alone.

another question just noted that my current CPU is running a bit higher than its base speed - screenshot here. is this normal?
will the screen here help in way to improve performance?
