How to get the Samsung XP941 to boot Windows 7 using a Gigabyte Ultra Durable GA-Z97X-UD5H

I'm very lost. Trying to install Windows 7 onto the samsung XP941 using a Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD5H. I try to follow this https://www.ramcity.com.au/blog/how-to-install-windows-8.1-on-the-samsung-xp941-ss/138296 but I get constantly get stuck at "windows cannot be installed to this disc..." others have done it successfully like this guy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uq3BrjWU7sg but his method does me no good either, especially since he is using Windows 8. Why oh why did I buy this expensive drive.
