Question How to get this AMD cooling fan to screw in?

I have this fan that was installed in my pc before on top of my old AMD CPU, but I got a new one and wanted to install it, so I took the fan off, put the new CPU in, all was fine, but now it won't screw back in. I know they are spring-loaded, and you need to press to get it to go, but honestly I have no idea how my builder got it on there in the first place. Is there some trick or something I'm missing?

So now I plugged it in and there's no signal to my monitors, its turning on but thats it. You know what could of happened now?

I just unplugged and removed the cooler, then put the new CPU in, there was nothing else in the way.

All the lights and fans are on, so I know its getting power, could this little piece be the problem?

It's really the only place I could see possible damage, idk what else would cause it not to work

CPU - AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, BIOS I wouldn't know

It looks like you need to flash an updated BIOS. And unfortunately for you, the motherboard doesn't support a BIOS flashback feature. Now you must reinstall the old CPU and then download and flash the latest BIOS available at the manufacturer website. Then after you can reinstall the new CPU and it should work.

Make sure to fully reattach the cooler each time. Don't try to run without it.
