How to get wireless connection with XP?

Hello.
I have this old laptop and as an excercise I am trying to get myself a wireless connection.
Device management detects the wireless card. I have the little tv set down on the bottom right of the XP screen that shows that connection is there but I cannot open any Web page.
I am giving you the result of ipconfig-all:

Thats seems weird...

Try removing all the drivers and software related to the adapter, restart and reinstall... it seems it´s getting the IP alright, but DHCP seems to be turned off..., tell us more about your system and WiFi card, is it USB? PCI?

you have an incorrect setting on your router, 192.168.1.1 is never a DNS server.
Change your DNS sever to the ISP DNS server or use 8.8.8.8 and primary and 8.8.4.4 as secondary.

Your DNS can be 192.168.1.1, since its pointing to your router, and your Router will resolve the address, no problem with that.

You could check on the Network adapter setting, under TCP/IP if its all on automatic (DHCP), if not, clear the values by clicking the Get IP

I tried your solution but it didnt fix the problem.
The wireless HW is a Digicom Wave 300 C WiFi USB Internet key. It is meant also for XP and I downloaded the right driver.
I will later look into the DNS configuration and also the solution suggested by The Paladin, as soon as I get the time.
