How do I get WoWLan to work I feel like I have tried everything...

Adapter: ASUS PCE-AC68

Router: ASUS RT-AC68U

Motherboard: Is from a Gatewat FX6860 (Bios says P02-A2)

Running Plex media server on a windows 7 system and I want to be able to have the computer go to sleep and wake up useing wowlan.

I have turned on power on by PCIE in bios.

I have "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" "Allow this device to wake the computer" " Only allow a magic packet to wake the computer" all checked off.

I think the problem is that my wireless adapter isnt getting power when its in sleep... how do I fix this? (Only base this off the fact that the little blue light on the back of the PCIE card turns off)

I do not have a solution. But I am in the process of getting me the same combination, and this is the only question I want answered. If there's anybody out there who can help us, please do.

I've read bits and pieces all over that Wake on LAN is restricted to LAN and not WLAN. But given that both the components are from Asus, I was assuming this would work smoothly. Asus even has a section in the Asus-DDWRT where you can wake up a PC connected to it.

Hey, I finally bought the router. I haven't been able to get WoWLAN to work though. I've read tons on this, and I've concluded it's just not possible. BY the way, Asus has a pretty neat app AiCould that has a UI to wake up devices at the press of a button. Be sure to check it out.
