how to get your laptop to die fast

I want my laptop to die fast because the screen is frozen and it won't restart.

First try <Ctl>-<Alt>-<Del> to see if you get any options. If not, hold the power button down; that should do it. As a last resort you can pull the battery out.

have you tried press and hold power button?... that should turn it off, then you can press it again to turn it on
