currently i have 2 140mm fans in the front, 2 140mm fans on the top with my radiator, and 1 140mm fan in the back

Im planning on switching the 2 140mm in the front to 3 120mm in the front, the rest stays the same, will that create a balanced airflow

I did. Then again, I'm more into functionality rather than looks.
All depends on how fancy you want to get.

If I were so inclined, I'd get a few pieces of dark (or clear) plexiglass/lucite/clear plastic/whatever.
Cover the offending spaces.

But I just used black duct tape, because I'm not really bothered about 'looks'.

What you have now seems to be fine.

I'm was gonna switch to 3 120mm to bring more cool air in so my gpu temp can go down a bit, but that will change the air flow?

3 x 120 is not that much more than 2 x 140.

Is there an actual problem with the GPU too hot?
Do you have a side fan, blowing directly onto the GPU?

no gpu is not too hot, but i prefer it to be lower, and it is a custom design, not blower style

i just don't want a negative airflow, cuz lot of dust gets in

Any holes or grills in the case where there isn't a filter?
I put black duct tape over several spaces in my case. Cut down a lot on 'dust' getting inside.

ya in the back where theres no intake fans, theres no filters

Cover that up.
This lets the vast majority of the airflow be directed with the fans, and not just random holes in the case.

just tape it with duck tape?
