Hello guys! So, i was wondering i have an old notebook that i don't use anymore, and i was asking if i could use it as a second monitor, the notebook only as a VGA adapter, and my computer has only DVI-I, DVI-D, HDMI, and Display Port, but i have a DVI-I to VGA cable, so i was wondering if i could use the cable to conect the notebook to my pc as a second monitor.
Thanks!!!

Well, there's this:
Air Display
https://avatron.com/applications/air-display/

and this:
MaxiVista
http://www.maxivista.com/

Neither are free, and I have no idea how well they work. It pumps the video over your LAN to the second device.

But no, there is no native way to turn a laptop video OUT port into a video IN port
