I want to hide my games and apps in the windows 10 start menu. I don't want to uninstall them, just hide. Like the game folders in start menu eg.: Steam-->Dota 2. thanks!

I just looked it up, and the way I do it is the right way. Windows 10 can be pretty slow to actually pick up the changes, though. It may require logging out and back in, or a restart.

Question: Do you and your brother use the same login? This will make a difference. There is both a common start menu area and a per-user start menu area. If you two use different logins, just move the games to your per-user start menu area and they won't be visible to other logins. If you share a login, you will have to stick them in an un-appealing looking folder, or remove them from the start menu entirely and navigate to the game executables where they are installed to run them.

The start menus are in folders. Before Windows 10 you could have...
I'm sorry, but I have to ask. Is this a school or work computer? No offense, but most of the people who ask about how to hide games have turned out to be doing it on a computer that someone else has control of, which is a very bad idea and can get you into a lot of trouble.

my brother always want to play my games that is not right for his age.

If you have admin access, you can change the layout of the start menu.
Better yet, there is a common start menu and a per-user start menu. If you and your brother use different logins, you can move the games to your per-user start menu so that they will not be visible when he is logged in. I suspect that the way I have always done this is the wrong way, so I can look for a right way.

This seems a good idea can you teach me how?

The start menus are in folders. Before Windows 10 you could have multiple levels of folders; now, only one level is practical. The easiest way to get to the folder tree for the all-users start menu items is go into the start menu, pick something common, right-click on it, and select more -> open file location. This should take you to "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs". Take a look at the folders under it and their contents, which will correspond to start menu items.

The per-user start menu items will be found at C:\Users\UserNameHEre\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs. If you create folders and shortcuts there, they will only be visible when logged on as that user. If you are using different logins, it's as easy as moving the games from the common tree to the tree for your login.

You MUST have admin access to edit the common start menu.
