Hi i have a surround sound with four speakers and two subwoofers and i only have a green jack and a pink jack, how can u hooking it up to a desktop? My desktop model is HP 110-194 PC.
If there is already a removable sound card inside your PC, yes you must remove it.
If, however, the existing sound adapter is a chip integrated on the motherboard (on-board sound), you won't be able to remove it. In that case you need to disable it in BIOS Setup otherwise you'll get a resource conflict between the integrated sound chip & your new sound card.
