How to hook up your tv tuner card to your hd cable box

Hello,
i just bought a hauupauge tv tuner care 950Q and i have the scientific atlanta hd cable box thru charter and was wondering how to hook the box to the card to get hd tv? Currently i am using the box with the cable coming into the box, and the out on the back of the box to the tv tuner card? Works fine, but cannot get hd tv and cannot record with windows media center..any suggestions? Thanks!!

You can only get the free non HD channels. Thats the way it is. they want you to pay for their over priced DVR services, the paid channels and HD channels are encrypted with proprietary encryption technologies.
