Question How to identify a used GPU?

Is there a way to tell if a good working GPU has high mileage or shorter lifespan remaining by using things like diagnostic softwares? Because obviously, anyone could clean up the dust and claimed it to be “like new, well taken care of”
I’m pretty sure a seller will say good things about his merchandise.

Even if you have a way to tell, how accurate is it?

Well, there's always the odometer. Seriously, it's electronics, there is no way to tell.

Again, stress test won't tell you if something is used or not. Just tell you if its performing as it reasonably should and is stable. Plenty of used GPUs will also be completely functional and stable.

I guess a benchmark might give you an idea that there is nothing obviously wrong with it, but nothing to say it won't break the next day whether it used or not.

Unless you get it new from the store in a sealed box, it is 'used'.
