Is there any way to switch position in the truck when one person is using
it? I mean, using the guns?
I can only drive it when I press ENTER, to get inside. Would be nice to park
it and use the guns, since I don't all ways get partners.

Press key "1" to drive. (default)
Press key "2" to switch to front gun.
Press key "3" to switch to back gun.

Same way you switch your regular weapons.

Most people use the scroll wheel to do that...

Seriously? I hardly ever use that. It's much easier for me to just hit
'R' for rocket launcher, for instance. That way, I don't have to
remember the position of the current weapon, how many I picked up in
this life, what their position is relative to my current weapon, and
thus how many I'm going to have to skip by scrolling past them.

That's fine if the only game you play is UTxxxx, but for those of us
that play lots of FPS games, R is commonly used for reload and it is
easier to get used to using the wheel.

Paul gave the correct answer, which was useful to the OP and the OP
thanked him. Your answer, on the other hand, was simply lame.

For someone who cares enough to write a FAQ, you sure give lousy
answers. Why bother giving worthless answers to valid questions?

Ah, you should be able to remember your key settings. My point is
still valid though - you can just as well use 'R' for reload (and thus
not at all in UT) and use some other key to directly choose a weapon.

But my point is that UTxxxx doesn't use many keys compared to the more
sophisticated FPS games out there, so getting used to using the scroll
wheel in all games can be advantageous.

Szaki remember that you can switch position even in other vehicles like
goliath, leviethan, ion cannon, ecc...

Unless you've changed the default weapon keys in Settings |
Input | Configure Controls...
I *think* the positions are tied to the normal weapons (Shield
Gun, Assault Rifle, Bio-Rifle - not necessarily in that order).
I've ended up with 6,7 & 8 instead of 1,2 & 3 🙁

Hence my remark "the same way as you use to switch your normal
weapons".

Thanks, it don't work on mine. Pressing "2" works, put me into the front
gun, but 3 don't work or I can't get back to 1 to drive, just stuck in 2
mode, unless I exit the truck.
Using my scroll wheel, zooms in & out, don't switch weapons.
F4 changes gun view or payer view, some times I use that, gun view targets
better.
Is there a set-up some place?

Oh come on, Folk can read and talk for himself. Apparently he had the
balls to just leave it at that and don't drag this discussion lower
than it already was. We don't need you to do that for us. If we want
some good old-fashioned mud-slinging, we can do it ourself thankyou.
