how to increas usable ram in 32 bit os

i have windows 7 ultimate 32 bit , in properties ,my laptop shows that i have only 2.66 gb usable ram out of 8 gb .

Change to Win 7 64bit. There is no good workaround.

Well 4GB of your RAM is completely wasted. 32 Windows cannot address more than 4GB of RAM. Period. No workarounds. That's why there is a 64 bit version.

By the time your system is loaded up, the 2.66 is all that is available to your programs.
