So right now my computer is in the third floor of my home the modem Att installed is in the basement as far from my computer as possible. Right now I am getting internet from a Ethernet cord plugged into a Att Uverse Tv Wireless box. What should I buy to get a good connection to my 3rd floor computer I'm only getting 7 Mbps download speed when I pay for 21 down(my other computer gets 18-21 It is in the basement).

Get a powerline adaptor like one of the following: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_c_0_17?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=powerline+networking+adapter&sprefix=powerline+networking+adapter%2Caps%2C896

I used to use one of these when I had a situation like yours. They work really well and have much lower latency than wireless and suffer less interference. They do have their cons like anything else, but unless there is no other option, I find these do a better job than wireless repeaters in most cases.

I hear these work great if they work great. I agree try this power line one, but if it doesn't give you full speed and low ping within a week or so, it isn't going to be better.
