How to increase RAM speed

I have the following board: 990FXA-GD65

I have the following RAM: Corsair Trident, which is supposed to be at 2333Mhz, but according to OCTT its running at 667Mhz.

I am just installing Black Ops 4 and I would like the memory to run at max speed, how can I change this without affecting the stability of the computer? Or is it done automatically when you run a memory intensive application?

It's DDR memory Double DATA RATE so you multiply by 2.

667x2 = 1334.

Most FX setups won't run over 1866.

I've never seen any 2333
So i would assume it's the g.skil trident x 2133.
Try the xmp and set to 1066 (which is 2133) in bios and check the voltage setting.

My trident x 1866 is running at 2133 with voltage increased.

XMP is for Intel OC profiles. Look for DOCP or EOCP for AMD.

From looking at mobo manual
Looks like that board doesn't support memory profiles.
May have to set mem manually.
