How to increase the pixel density/resolution of my monitors

I have four "AOC i2721vh / 27-Inch IPS " monitors and two "QUADRO FX1800" graphics cards hooked to HPZ400 server. This setup supports the resolution of 1920 x 1080 on each monitor.
I am trying to increase the real estate of the monitors. I am assuming increasing the resolution to 2560X1440 would help. How would I go about it (should I change monitors and graphics cards or changing one of them would help)

You'd need a 1440p monitor, or use NVDIA DSR, but I'm not sure if that works for windows resolutions
