How to instal notepad

I am using desk top. I could not find note pad in my windows xp. Please
advise me how to search or install .

You will find it under accessories.

Or Click Start, goto "Run" and type "notepad" and hit enter.

In case you would like to find the "Notepad.exe", it is located in "C:\windows" folder.
Sometimes you'll also find another copy at "C:\WINDOWS\system32".
