How to install a CD drive on the ASRock Extreme3 970?

Hey guys,

I took the plunge and am building my own computer from the ground up. I chose the ASRock Extreme 3 970 and am having trouble seeing where I install the CD drive, which is troubling because that is how I intended to install Windows on this. Can anyone guide me please?

You'll need a sata optical drive as your motherboard has no ide port. If it is a sata drive then simply plug it into an available sata port on the motherboard and plug power into the drive.

So it sounds like I need to get a new Optical Drive then, that is good to know, for now I have powered up my old computer with my new hard drive and am just gonna install windows that way. Thanks for letting me know!
