Hi I am currently trying to figure out where the 2 6pin adapters for the gfx card are located on the hp z800 for my gtx 960. Also, my gtx 960 should fit in the standard case right?
-I have a pcie 2 x16 with 75watts- +The gfx card I want to install is a Gigabyte GTX 960 2gb with the 2 fans on it, not 3.
Thanks,
Zac

The 6 pin connectors come from the PSU. The point I was trying to make, is that a PSU designed for a server, may not have PCIe 6 pin connectors. If that is the case, you will have to use a couple of these...

The Psu is 800W, I assume the gfx card will fit I just don't know where the 6+2 Pin connectors are as the gfx card is a Nvidia NVS 295 which doesnt need power from any pin connectors. I think I saw one but I need 2 of them. Does anyone have pics of the 6+2 Pin connectors on a HP Z800?

(They may have come with the gfx card, in the box)

These are the connectors you are looking for coming from the PSU: http://en.community.dell.com/cfs-file/__key/communityserver-discussions-components-files/3515/2313.video.jpg
6 pin on the left and a 6+2 pin on the right.

Thanks for the help clutchc! Can I get 2 of the molex adapters and use it for my gfx card? I have 6 of the 4 pin ports I think so that would work right?

EDIT: https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=images&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwi9moDG3MjLAhWGqR4KHTUNCp8QjRwIBw&url=http%3A%2F%2Fandybrown.me.uk%2F2014%2F11%2F01%2Fz800%2F&bvm=bv.117218890,d.dmo&psig=AFQjCNF8boHNZRfVHuA8T88Lk_ri3UyJ0Q&ust=1458338531867685 <-- This website has a picture of my mobo, in the bottom left it shows about 8 of them white connectors, is that what the adapter would plug into and then go into my gfx card?

https://arstechnica.com/civis//viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1269633 Would this be able to work? A sata/sas from my mobo to a molex to 6pin to my gfx card? What would I need to get?

No. Those are SATA headers for connecting the data cable for HDDs, SSDs, optical drives, etc. The power to the gfx card will not come from the motherboard. As I said, it will come directly from the power supply (PSU).
