how to install a new mobo

I brought a new mobo for my pc because old one is dead... but i dont know how to install it.....i have some doughts......

1. What will happen to the old bios?
2.what to do with the cd that comes
with the mobo?
3.Can i install the os without formatting the other drives except
C drive.....

4.Can anyone give me detailed steps for installing my new mobo...like when to install bios ......os .....etc

2: the CD will have your LAN drivers on it, get every other driver online for the latest versions.
3: yes, i'd recommend unplugging the other drives as it can cause issues with installing the OS
