Check your motherboard manual as it will tell you which PCI-E 3.0 slot to use if only fitting one GPU. Usually the slot closest to the CPU.

As for connectors, I have that model GPU and you need the 6-pin and the 8-pin PCI-E cables to power it. When you look at the PCI-E cables you'll see it's actually just two 6-pins, each with a 2-pin hanging on the side. Just be sure to join a 2-pin to a 6-pin before plugging into the GPU ;)
