[SOLVED] How to install GPU in PCIe Slot?

Hi,
This is first time I will be installing an external graphics card in PCIe 16 slot.
See the picture. There's a lock at the end of PCIe 16 slot.
Do I need to do anything with the lock before or after inserting the card in the slot?
Some basic guidance would be great as I don't want to mess up anything here due to lack of knowledge.

The lock will snap in place when it's put in Fully nothing needed to be done typically.

Thanks a lot..just to know quickly, if I need to remove the card, do I need to pull back the lock lever or push it down to unlock it?

Depends on the motherboard, sometimes it latches like ram and you just push it down before removing. Sometimes it's more of a lock where you have to pull it out

It depends on the motherboard, some you push down, some you push to one side. If you break the lock, don't panic, long as you are not moving the case violently, the screw will hold the card in place.
