I'm looking to get the Virgin Mobile home internet but the problem is that I don't have a phone jack in the room I need it in, and I can't drill in the wall. Is there any way I could go about this?

Unless you can run the wires along walls, under rugs, behind molding without danger of being tripped on etc. you may need to set up a wireless network.

Generally difficult to run new wires without drilling holes somewhere. Might be able to run the wires from below or above and then use some existing wall port location with a different connection. A combined telephone coax wall jack for example.

Do you know where the existing (if any) ISP connection first enters into your home? Or some landline telephone connection?

The ISP installer will probably run and/or connect your service line to that same area.

What service will you be receiving: DSL or coax? Is there a coax connection in the desired room?

Do you know if Virgin Mobile is providing a modem or modem/router? If a modem then you will need a wireless router. However, if they provide a modem/router it will need to have wireless capability or you will again need a wireless router.

Then wireless would be broadcast to network devices throughout the house including the desired room.

Look around your entire home location - inside and out. See what you can find.

More information is necessary.

There's a phone jack in my kitchen that's not too far from the room. I'll probably get DSL as the room I need internet in doesn't have a coax connection either. The good thing is that the modem Virgin Mobile provides is a modem/router with wireless capability. I was hoping to get a wired connection but if the case comes to the modem/router getting set up in the kitchen then I could try out Alabalcho's solution of using a powerline adapter.
