How to install mantle?

So I have just got my system running and i'm unsure on how to install drivers for my gpu. My gpu is the r9 290. Do I have to uninstall things first or can I straight away just download the new mantle driver? Any help here?

They are already installed as part of the normal catalyst drivers. It's up to the game developers to implement it and enable a toggle in the settings of the game. For example in BF4 this guide explains how to toggle it http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/news/view/bf4-mantle-live/

but they have updated the catalyst mantle drivers to 14.7 and i doubt the r9 290 has come with completely up to date drivers! I have to keep drivers up to date, how do I know i've even got drivers released in the past 2 months?

Go to amds website and download the latest drivers, on mantle supported games you will see a mantle option in the graphics settings in game

if i download catalyst 14.7 do i need to delet my last driver? If so how do i do that?
