How to install MSI Bios?

Hi, i have an MSI 760gm-P23 (FX) Motherboard and i was browsing around only to find how outdated my bios was! i downloaded the new one off of msi website ( http://eu.msi.com/support/mb/760GMP23_FX.html#down-bios )


However when i click on the .exe to install it i get this error message -

This version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows your running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher.

P.S. I have windows 7 64 bit!

So how can i install my new bios?

Unless you're seeing an actual issue, and that BIOS update fixes that issue, leave it alone.

If you must, what instructions does MSI give you? Do that, all of that, and only that. Don't rely on anything else.
