How to install network drivers without USB or CD? (USB and CD need updated drivers themselves)

My computer does not recognise USB 3.0 ports which seem to be the only ones that I have on my whole pc including on the mobo. Furthermore after getting a cd drive it does not seem to recognize this either and says that I need drivers if I want them to work.
Now this leads me to what I believe to be an unsolvable problem. How on earth can I install these drivers to get my USB and CD to work if I need my USB and/or CD to install network drivers and such? It just seems to be an infinite loop where I need one to fulfill the other but can't get anywhere without a starting point.

I can't imagine that I am the only one to have ever run into this problem and would greatly appreciate hearing an answer or a possible solution. Thanks!

do you have a spare pc?

on the pc you want to install stuff on, create a small partition, it doesn't need to be massive
remove hdd and put it other pc as secondary drive
download or copy the drivers you want to install onto the partition you created
install back in pc and install drivers

if your installing windows 7 or 8 on an newer intel mb. you can do a few things.
one use a program called 7lite make a new windows iso from another pc. add the service packs and drivers.
2. during windows 7 install hit f6 to install custom drivers. on your 8g usb stick of windows 7 place all of the mb drivers unzipped on it. then install the chipset and ethernet drivers that way.
if your going to go from 7 to 10. the newest windows 10 iso will take windows 7/8 keys. use windows media creation tool and 8g usb stick make a bootable windows 10 install stick.
