How to Install Nvidia GeForce GTS 250

Hello,
i've installed GTS 250. but when i turn it on, it says "your NVIDIA graphic cards is not receiving sufficient power......" what am i supposed to do???

have you connect the 6-pin power connector to the card? if your PSU does not have one you can use the molex cable. sometimes they were bundled with the card. if not you have to buy it yourself

i did.. but still pop up with the same warning.. should i update my Bios system?

What are the rest of your system specs? It might be easier if we could see the whole picture.

maybe your there is something wrong with your PSU or simply your PSU spec is not up to least recommended PSU needed by GTS250. do you know the exact model of your PSU?

PSU : huntkey HT701 - 11PEP, 80MASTER 700WATTS Powe Supply
MOBO:Gigabyte EP31 - DS3L
Processor: Intel(R) Core (TM) 2 Duo CPU E7400 @ 2.8GHz

you have plenty of power

I would suggest you double check your PCI-E six pin connection, makes sure it is fully plugged in.

I already checked it.. still the same warning.. aargghh..is there any website that have a picture how to plugged in all the wire?? or is there a possibility that my g.c are broken???

make sure the clip locks into place

if it still does not work, try the the molex adapter that came with your video card

I've checked, try both plug just now..and still the same warning..i guess i have to send my pc to technician if still no solution.. is there any website that can guide me how to setup the graphic card? thanks CT for the respond and help.

hey CT..everything solved now thanks a lot for every info that u shared with me. now my graphic card works!!! the prob was from the g.c. so the computer store gave me the new one and voila! thanks a lot CT
