How to install samsung SSD

Im pretty new to building pc, i just get my 1st build working, but im not sure how to install SSD. I conected SATA cable to mobo SATA port, installed software on my HDD. What should i do next? is it necesary to get a SATA-USB for data migration? Can't just work like HDD does?

Are you wanting to boot off the SSD or just put other programs onto it?

As far as your computer is concerned, an SSD works exactly like a hard drive. If you want to remove your existing hard drive, or change it to a secondary drive, you can have both drives connected to SATA ports and clone your hard drive onto the SSD.

Ok, i just cloned it with samsung migration wizard. But now i got some problems with some programs (ie,skydrive crash). I think its because all shortcuts and references go to C: (HDD) instead of F: (SSD). Is it better to just install from zero on it? Or is there any form to migrate all and having all refered to SSD?

After cloning, make your SSD drive C:, go into Bios/UEFI and set SSD as boot drive.

I cant assign C to my ssd, not sure why, and when i boot form SSD but still got problems. Maybe Samung Migrate tool doesn't migrate some W 8.1 things?

Unplug the hard drive and start with SSD only.
