How to install sata hard drive on a m2n68-am se2 motherboard

How to install sata hard drive on my M2N68-AM SE2 Motherboard? And where do I connect the IDE cable if I don't have an IDE hard drive? Can I just leave it out or do I have to connect the IDE cable somewhere?

ya you can leave it out unless you got IDE drive (Cd/dvd).

If you look on the mobo there are little ports that kinda look rectangle or L shaped and say sata0 sata1 etc it goes there.


Think its red and to left of the ide slot (googled your board)
