[SOLVED] How to install second hard drive ?

Hello guys
Currently my nephews pc has a 2 terabyte hard drive . I have a ssd 250gb I wish to install for them so they can put at least 1 or 2 of there favourite games on it . I was wondering ( as I am doing a complete reinstall of the operating system ) do I put the operating system on the ssd or hard drive . Also if you can what is the name of the cable I need to connect from ssd to motherboard ? Thank you ?

General advice is to use an SSD for the boot drive as it makes the system feel quicker overall.

And the cable is a SATA cable.

You put the OS and all the applications on the SSD.
Games and other stuff can go on the HDD.

Just a Sata Cable goes to the motherbd.

The power connector comes from the Power Supply and you should have spares in there.

If you want to get it going, you can 'borrow' the one from an Optical drive until you can get one; if his PC has an optical drive...
