Question How to install SSD heatsink

Hello , Sorry by my English so bad , I have a Question , I have a SSD Samsung 970 evo 250gb and a set Heatsink , I wan't asking , Can i Remove Paper in SSD , and Install Thermal Pad to SSD like Image , that fine ?

Yes. The label on the SSD is actually a basic heat spreader itself, so you're just removing it and replacing it with something better.

It's not recommended or necessary. The heat sink alone will dissipate enough heat already.

Are you seeing signs of thermal throttling?

I'd leave the existing paper alone, lest you void the warranty over a perceived need of a better way to dissipate ~2 watts of heat....

you say , do not remove paper , because SSD can broken by thermal throttling ?

Yes you can replace the paper with a thermal pad and heatsink.
No you can't use paste, the thermal pad is self-adhesive. Paste is only for items that can be screwed down like cpu cooler etc.

so i can't scare about thermal throttling , power running around Pad , Broke SSD ?

Well it depends. If that's one of those m.2 cards that goes in the motherboard right next to the gpu, and it's a hot running gpu, in a case with lousy airflow making the case into an oven, then sure, be worried.

If it's one of those m.2 that goes in the slot at the top of the mobo next to the ram, in a case with plenty of airflow over that area, then no, no need to be worried.

You can always use something like speccy to monitor drive temps.
