How to Install SSD

I've bought myself a 240 gb ssd a couple months ago and have been putting off installing for awhile, Ive finally gotten around to doing it but first I need to know how to transfer files from my 1TB HDD and the right steps to take before putting my ssd in to get the best speeds.
Asrock extreme 4
Seagate 600 SSD
WD 1TB HDD
Windows 7 Home Premium if that helps 😛P
