I just broke my older Acer Aspire 4752G.
I just backup entire Partition my Windows 7 Home Premium (32bit) with Acronis True Image Home 2014 BootCD Premium.
intend to restore in this brand new Acer Aspire E1-410.
Acer Aspire E1-410 don't have Legacy Option only UEFI
Acronis True Image Home 2014 BootCD Premium fully support EUFI but alas my Original Windows don't boot
So I intend to use repair BootRec command prompt
These CD Windows won't detect in these Acer
So I call Acer Technical Support They said :
there is NO OTHER WAY to change this UEFI to LEGACY MODE (Build-in Bios mode CANNOT change other than UEFI)
you must install via DVD who FULLY SUPPORT UEFI -> Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 (ONLY in x64bit mode).
I hope you can resolve these for me.
Thank you.

Fresh install on another hard drive Hit f8 or f12 like crazy on the boot with windows and if that is not working go into bios and change the first boot option to the cd rom name and hit f8 and f12 like a mad man and wait for the screen to say press any button to load windows maybe you can get back those files after in windows. I think that is what I would try after nothing else worked.

Still cannot boot (because the DVD of Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit) NOT DETECTED in UEFI ?? even I try change BIOS Option:
Boot Option Menu
1. ATAPI CDROM: HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GUAON

that Acer Aspire E1-410 doesn't have legacy option in BIOS setting (ONLY UEFI)

I really desperate on these matter (my school project on those Acronis Image)
They (Acer) said I MUST buy Windows 8/8.1 (64bit) and installed on Acer Aspire E1-410
It is the ONLY SOLUTION ?

Do you have a flash drive maybe you could flash the bios or install Ubuntu on the flash drive and try and get those files or just put the recover disk in another computer and search for the school project ?

This thread could help maybe

Legacy mode *IS* CSM. You can't have both CSM and UEFI.

Win7 should load with UEFI selected (but I can't see why that could possibly be desirable).

Have you disabled secure boot? It may well be that Win7 drivers etc are not signed with acceptable signatures and thus installation is prevented.

I elected to use Legacy mode and side step these and, no doubt, other possible headaches. Honestly, I can see absolutely not advantage to UEFI on a laptop but that is your choice of course.

While I agree that the BIOS may be considered a little sparse on options, it works just fine as is.

In my other 'completely unsatisfactory' :smileylol: posts regarding upgrading Win8 to Win7, I do give a few extra pointers to the process. My upgrade produced an M5 that runs like a train, has zero problems (and I've tested everything) and runs games at up to 60fps - I'm very pleased.

My only concern, given all the horror stories here, is with hardware reliability and possible support (or lack of it) that I can expect should I ever need it!

Thank you for your concern Sir.

But Acer Aspire E1-410 DO NOT HAVE BIOS OPTION of LEGACY MODE (CMS) ONLY UEFI !!??

look here :

Yes! I disable and yet [enable again] secure boot system in these Acer E1-410.
ONCE I disable secure boot my all my entire HARDDRIVE in these Acer E1-410 IS NOT DETECTED! [Bring me EXTRA headache]
SO i enable again secure boot system luckly these goddamm new Acer is detected my restore Acronis Partion <- I see in Acronis
-> I hope my school project data is still under My document.

Alas very-very thank you for your quick support (that goddam Acer+Microsoft still not answer my post)
sorry my lack english.
