Hi guys, I have mounted some binding posts on a plastic board. I want to use this board as a breadboard. The back side of the binding posts is a metallic screw with no insulation. However, I dont want to connect any wire to the back side of board and I want it insulated.
I want to insulate the back side of binding posts.
How can I do this?
should I use thermal silicone?
is there any insulation material that I shoud use?
What other people do in similar cases?
thank you.

Solution
Simplest is to simply cover the posts on the backside with electrical tape. Or, you could use a rubber grommet around each one, and either fill the hole with RTV or cover with a small patch of electrical tape. This isn't an area where extreme amounts of engineering are needed.

Sorry I dont have better images. On the first image we see the one side of the plastic board and we see the black and red binding posts mounted on it.
On the second image I have turned over the plastic board and we see that tha back side of the binding posts is metallic and not insulated. So I would like to find the best solution insulate them. I post in this forum because I refer to binding posts which can be used also in Audio, but also in breadboard.
