In Windows 10 PC, joining to a domain is very easy. Here is how you can join a Windows 10 PC system to a domain.
Right-Click ‘Windows’ icon
Firstly, ‘Right-Click’ the ‘Windows’ icon to view the significant settings options of your Windows 10 system.
Click the ‘System’ option
In the Windows start option, you will find several significant setting options like settings, device manager, system, task manager, etc. Here, choose the ‘System’ settings.
Click ‘Connect to work or school’
In the Settings window, you will find information about your Windows 10 system, version, build, etc. Here click the ‘Connect to work or school’ option.
Enter the school or work email account if you have
If you have a work or a school account, ‘Enter email’ detail to join the Windows PC to the domain through the entered email address
Click ‘Join device to a local Active Directory Domain’, if you don't have email id’
As shown in the below pic, click the ‘Join this device to a local Active Directory domain’ link to proceed the joining of the PC to the domain,
Enter the ‘Domain name’
In the dialog box shown, type the ‘Domain name’ to join the Windows PC to the domain.
Enter the ‘Domain account’ and click ‘OK’
In the Windows Security window, enter the domain account information and password. After entering the details, click the ‘OK’ button.
Choose the ‘Administrator’ type
Click the ‘Administrator’ option for the user account type. Then select the ‘Next’ button.
Click ‘Restart now’ button
As shown below, press the ‘Restart now’ button to restart your Windows 10 system. This will enable the joining of Windows 10 PC system to the domain.
