HELP HELP HELP

I'm trying to get back to the CPU with "Dlib replacement panel". Out of the
"Lab A meeting room" you get into the "Lab A-Entrance". There the floor is
broke into 3 flotting rocks above melted lava. You need to get over those
rocks to get into the next part of the Lab A-Entrance passeway to enter
again the CPU. I tried allready everything from running till jumping over
the gap. But the gap seems to be too big and I ends up falling in the hot
melted lava.
Does anybody know how to get over and what the trick is to give you wings.

Any help would be welcom

I think you can walk back around to the other side of the 3 flotting rocks
above melted lava. try going back the way you came.

Andy.

Hi Andy,

Took the way back till floor 3 from Lab A but no way to escape from there
the only way back to CPU is over the flotting blocks. Until now I jumped
over the hundred times with sprint but still I have a lack of speed and
power to jump far enough.

I go back training some muscles

Your feet are further behind you than you think. If you need to do a leap
jump, jump a bit later then you would normally do.

If your objective is "Obtain access codes for Lab A" then.:
Return back to the Lab A door. On your way, a few Trites will attack you, so
get rid of them. Enter the code 627 (you saw that on a monitor) and enter the
new room. On the left is some lava, so go right.

Or you could tell us what your objective is and where you are (look at the text
on the bottom of the screen for your location)

This could technically be termed cheating, I suppose, but what I did
whenever presented with a tough jump was go thirdperson.
/pm_thirdperson 1
This let's you know exactly where your feet are and when to hit the jump
button at the last second.

I have a toggle in my autoexec for thirdperson switching and moving the
camera around if anyone's interested:

//use keypad 5 to switch to 3rd person view, use up down numpad arrow
keys to move camera in and out, use left/right to rotate it
bind kp_5 "toggle pm_thirdperson;vstr a0;vstr r100"
bind kp_uparrow "vstr closer"
bind kp_downarrow "vstr farther"
bind kp_leftarrow "vstr left"
bind kp_rightarrow "vstr right"
set a0 "pm_thirdpersonangle 0;set left vstr a10;set right vstr a350"
set a10 "pm_thirdpersonangle 10;set left vstr a20;set right vstr a0"
