How to know dvd rom read speed

How can i know the read and write speed of my internal DVD Writer without opening it from CPU cabinet

Looking at the drive sticker is the only reliable way, but you can try looking up to see how your operating system identifies the drive and look up the specs on the Internet.

For example, if you are on Windows look at the Device Manager (Control Panel, System, Hardware) for the DVD drive model number then Google it.
