The AMD A6 4400m is a 35w dual core mobile/notebook processor and was released in 2012 based on Trinity architecture and has a stock clock speed of 2.7ghz and with turbo core enabled by using amd overdrive it can achieve a 3.2ghz clock speed. It's integrated GPU is paired with AMD's HD 7520g has 192 shader cores and operates from 497mhz to 686mhz with turbo core configuration.

laptop generations/cpu generations is a term generated by intel for their intel cpus, it is just a idea of how old your cpu is in the current generation of offerings from them, to let the user know what they bought and how old it is and how bad positioned is when compared to their new line of processors

since yours is amd, has nothing to do with the generation idea from intel
