I read a laptop specs ( Lenovo E41-55) on amazon (highly unreliable source ) where it says RAM 4GB LPDDR4. I have not yet bought that laptop though.
However I wonder if there's any way one can know for sure if their RAM is DDR or LPDDR
e.g. when I run CPU-Z on my current HP laptop it just says Type as DDR4.
If it were LPDDR4 would it ever say it as LPDDR4?
How to know for sure if my laptop has DDR4 or LPDDR4 RAM?
Thanks.

LPDDR stands for Low Power Double Data Rate and it is specifically designed for mobile devices. It compromises a little on the operation speed in order to save some power. LPDDR4 is usually soldered to the motherboard and there is no way to upgrade, it probably doesn't have SO-DIMM slots.
