Hello
I have an hp mother board (8300ssf) recently i flashed the latest bios 3.07
After i shut down the pc it won't post
I tried every things possible
changed the battery
Cleared the cmos
Another cpu
Another psu

That's how i knew it was the bios
My question is : if i removed the chip and send it to someone for reprograme it
Will it fix my problem?
Because the pc isn't posting but when i turn it on without ram it beeps
And this gived me hope

Solution
What was the problem you were having that required a bios flash?

If the bios chip is removable, it is probably better to simply order a replacement.
Often, they are soldered into the motherboard.

Actually, I think a used replacement motherboard will be your better option.
