How to know if the GPU is refurbished?

Hello, I found a good deal of asus gtx 1080 rog strix (code: STRIX-GTX1080-8G-GAMING) and it says that it's new! But there is no warranty, so if it fries - it fries, 540€ is gone. But I think now how he could find that good a deal and there is no warranty, could it be refurbished? And when I go there, where to look so I would know that is not refurbished? Look, then I need to think fast, there is only 5+ MSI GeForce® GTX 1070 GAMING X 8G 8GB GDDR5 new with warranty, but they will be gone after a day if I won't be fast. The price is 550€ which is good or nah?

Doesnt sound like a good price to me. If you can wait a little while the prices should drop now that the Ethereum mining craze is crashing.

Yeah thats what I said about ethereum crashing, but I was referring to the prices of GPUs dropping.

I would guess over the next couple of months the prices should be more reasonable but I cant predict the future, sorry.
