How to know is the GPU refurbished?

Hello, I found a good deal of asus gtx 1080 rog strix (don't know which version) and it says that it's new! But there is no warranty, so if it fries - it fries, 540€ is gone. But I think now how he could find that good a deal and there is no warranty, could it be refurbished? And when I go there, where to look so I would know that is not refurbished?
